Conditions Treated

  • Cardiac Arrest
  • Heart Attack
  • Stroke
  • Trauma
  • Mental Illness
  • Asthma and COPD

The Emergency Department at Columbus Regional cares for over 30,000 patients annually for urgent care. Our physicians treat everything from cut fingers and broken bones to major traumas and cardiac emergencies, and we work to get you back home, or admitted to the hospital if needed, as quickly as possible. Our ED is at the core of Columbus Regional’s ability to deliver life-saving care — efficiently, thoroughly and in a comfortable setting.

If you have an urgent medical problem or have a condition you anticipate worsening to an emergency before you can see your primary care physician, please come directly to the Emergency Department at Columbus Regional Healthcare System (or in severe cases, call 911 for an ambulance). Immediate care is often the difference between full recovery and continuing problems.
