Our 9-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) possesses the most modern technology available for the constant monitoring and care of critically ill patients. This special unit is staffed with highly skilled nurses who specialize in caring for the critically ill and will administer close observation to each patient, while catering to their unique condition or situation.

CCU Visiting Hours

  • 5:00 A.M. – 5:30 A.M.
  • 9:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M.
  • 11:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
  • 1:00 P.M. – 1:30 P.M.
  • 3:00 – 5:00 P.M.*
    *(Open Visitation – Only 2 visitors per room)
  • 8:30 P.M. – 9:30 P.M.

When Will Patients Be Transferred Out of CCU?

  • The Critical Care Unit is reserved for seriously ill or injured patients. Once a CCU patient begins to show signs of recovery and stability, they may be transferred to another unit that can continue to administer the level of care they need.

Important Notes About Visiting Hours

  • Please comply with the visiting hours listed above. Visiting hours are designed to ensure the comfort and care of those in CCU, as well as the ability of staff to properly care for patients in this unit.
  • Please do not visit while experiencing any viral or respiratory infections or symptoms of any kind that may compromise the health of patients or staff.
  • Patients may have equipment in their room depending on their situation or condition. Do not be alarmed, as this is necessary to provide essential monitoring of a patient’s vitals (heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, etc.)

Conditions Requiring Admission to CCU

  • Major Surgical Operation/Surgical Trauma
  • Serious Head Injuries
  • Assistance with Breathing
  • Heart Attack, Unstable Heart Rhythm, Very High/Low Blood Pressure
  • Imbalance of Chemicals in Bloodstream
  • Serious Infections
