CRHS AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL STUDENTS

Columbus Regional Healthcare System awarded four $1,000 scholarships to HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) students who would like a future in the health care industry. Each student has completed a second level Health Occupation Class at their High School. This year’s recipients included Brittany Powell, Zachary Simoneau, Sharneé Grovner and Carin Stump. “We are extremely excited to be able to offer these scholarships,” commented Terrie Priest, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing at CRHS. “We feel that it’s important for us to promote health careers and support education in the community we serve. Perhaps one of these individuals may decide to come back to Columbus County to work in the health care field.”
