Columbus Regional Recognizes Service Milestones
Columbus Regional recognized 86 employees for continuous service during National Hospital Week.
National Hospital Week dates back to 1921 when the idea was suggested by a magazine editor who hoped a communitywide celebration would alleviate public fears about hospitals. The idea caught on and today National Hospital Week is the nation’s largest annual health care event.
One of the highlights during Hospital Week at CRHS is the annual Employee Service Award Banquet, which honors employees for continuous service. Each employee who celebrated a “mile-marker” anniversary last year was presented with a service pin by hospital CEO Bill Clark. Assisting Mr. Clark in the presentations was Andy Martin, Chairman of the Hospital’s Board of Trustees and Ginger Scott, Vice President Human Resources.
