On May 19, 1993 the Columbus Regional Healthcare System Auxiliary was founded. The Charter Members who are still active volunteers are Pat Paschal, Lou Hooks and Eva Pope. LaDean Powell and Susan Hanover were also involved in the Auxiliary getting established. These ladies were concerned citizens of our community who had a desire to better the lives of others. SERVICE AREAS
Volunteers offer a variety of valuable services to our patients and their families. One of the most important is to offer a smile and a kind word to those that need it. Volunteers assist in service areas throughout Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

If you are interested in volunteering at Columbus Regional Healthcare System, You must be at least 18 years of age. You will first need to complete an application. Upon receiving your application, you will be contacted for an interview date. Once an applicant has been accepted and an appropriate position is available, the new applicant must attend an orientation. It is offered every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. The date will be scheduled for you in the Human Resources Department on your interview day. You will be required to answer some health questions and have an annual TB screening. Once you have completed the above requirements, you will be assigned to another volunteer or employee to be trained for your service area. |
